Defining HospitalityFront-Line Guest Service Training

This two and a half-hour program is designed to be a low-cost, comprehensive program to teach front-line staff the fundamentals of exceeding guests’ expectations while giving them a greater understanding of the Hospitality the Little Traverse Way Service Culture.  The curriculum was designed by Bill Quiseng of Bill Quiseng / Deliver the World’s Best Customer Experience and supported by the partnering agencies of Hospitality the Little Traverse Way.  Participants learn about the history of the Little Traverse Bay Area’s Service Culture and are given practical guest-relations skills that they can immediately apply in their workplace or future workplace.  Employee participation will provide points toward a business becoming a Signature Service Business. Seminar AudienceManagement-Level Guest Service Training

This three-hour program is designed to be an affordable “train the trainer” program to help management better prepare their front-line staff to exceed guests’ expectations. The curriculum was designed by Bill Quiseng of Bill Quiseng / Deliver the World’s Best Customer Experience and supported by the partnering agencies of Hospitality the Little Traverse Way.  Managers will gain a better understanding of the history of the service culture of the Little Traverse Bay Area, will learn the importance of establishing the right service culture in their organization, will learn how to hire the smile, and will walk away with methods of teaching the fundamentals of guest-service.  Management participation will provide points toward a business becoming a Signature Service Business.

Cost:  Varies depending on venue, includes refreshments, take-home packet, and an official certificate of attendance.

Hospitality SlideIn-House Guest Service Training

Have Hospitality the Little Traverse Way come into your business or organization for a customized, one-hour training program.  Facilitators will modify the curriculum to adapt to the needs of your particular industry while still demonstrating the fundamentals of exceeding your guests’ expectations.  Your organization will be asked to assess its current service-culture level and will be challenged to develop a plan to raise that level.  Participating businesses will receive points toward becoming a Signature Service Business.

Cost:  $250, plus $3/person to cover material costs.  Includes a customized presentation in your business with information packets for each employee, and certificates of completion.  If this training needs to be offered off-site, costs associated with renting a facility will be the responsibility of the business/organization.

Community Guest Service Training

Even if you don’t do business in the Little Traverse Bay region, you can still embrace our service culture and bring it to your community.  Our facilitators will teach Hospitality the Little Traverse Way so that businesses in your area can exceed guests’ expectations.  This three-hour program was designed by Bill Quiseng of Bill Quiseng / Deliver the World’s Best Customer Experience and supported by the partnering agencies of Hospitality the Little Traverse Way.  It is ideal for chambers of commerce, downtown organizations, industry associations, resorts, or clubs.  The curriculum will focus on the community culture of hospitality and the fundamentals of exceeding guests’ expectations.  It will be suitable for front-line and management staff.

Cost:  $750 plus $.50 per mile.  Purchaser will also be responsible for the cost of overnight accommodations if necessary.
